   Our Lady of Mount Carmel School was founded in 1956 under the encouragement of  Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish and the guidance of the Carmelite Friars.  We are located in Middletown in Orange County one of the fastest growing counties in New York State.  We are under the direction of the New York State Department of Education and the supervision of the Archdiocese of New York.
